More than 20 years ago I left my family and friends in Lünen and moved to Hamburg. The reason for this was simple: I fell in love, not only with my husband, but also with the city of Hamburg: a metropolis with the charm and atmosphere of a provincial town. I liked the varied scenery and the abundance of green parks and woodland. Everywhere you look there is water and both the North Sea and the Baltic are easy and quick to reach. The gateway to the world, as the residents of Hamburg so rightly and proudly say. Yes, Hamburg embraced me and now I have my own family as well as dear friends here. And if you live in such a beautiful city, you don’t have to wait long for a visit from family members or old friends.

After making our home in various parts of this hanseatic city, my conclusion is that they all have their own attraction. Together with our son Tiger we moved from the Alster Lake area down to the River Elbe, mostly because that’s where the international school and the Falkenstein Gold Club are. We now live in a quiet cul-de-sac in beautiful Othmarschen: a green oasis in a friendly neighbourhood, which I find is the perfect family setting.

My son is now grown-up and tours the world as a competitive golf player. This has enabled me to develop my passion for real estate and its presentation into a full-time profession. I took all the necessary exams and am now a fully-qualified, certified estate agent. I do not see myself as a salesperson but, above all, as a real estate consultant, giving the best possible advice and guiding my clients hand in hand towards their goals.
